Design Engineer ( Exp: 2 – 4+ years)

We are looking for design engineers to join our creative team engaged in the development of new products, systems, tools, process etc. As the design engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering duties including designing, researching, analysing, testing and prototyping new products.

The chosen engineer will collaborate with the design (design, analysis and testing) and production teams on our design projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering software to lead the way. In addition to being a good communicator, all candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Preparing Engineering plans, technical specifications of products/ systems/subsystems, generating concepts, ideas, 3D CAD models, drawings, bill of materials, analysis (conventional and Computer aided), reports and documents.

➢ Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.

➢ Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.

➢ Maintain existing engineering records and designs.

➢ Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.

➢ Estimate costs and budgets for new designs.

➢ Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs.

➢ Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

➢ Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering.

➢ 2 – 4+ years of experience familiar with design engineering are most suitable

➢ Experience in product design or relevant field is desirable.

➢ Good knowledge of engineering materials.

➢ Knowledge of Modeling software like CATIA/ NX is essential.

➢ Knowledge in CAE tools like NASTRAN/ Ansys or similar tools is desirable.

➢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

➢ Accurate and strong attention to detail.

➢ Proficient in MS Office tools like MS Word, Excel and popular design software are essential

➢ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Project Engineer ( Exp: 1 – 3 years)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability
  • Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project
  • Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data
  • Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures
  • Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests


Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • 1-3 years’ related field and project planning experience.
  • Excellent project management skills desired.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Field management experience a plus.
  • Enterprise-level computer platform experience required.


Business Development Engineer ( 1 – 2 years)

The Business Development Engineer's main role is simply develop the business in every way such as retaining the old and attracts new customers, handling all marketing activities and campaigns, and even finding new products to develop the company's technical offering, all with the guidance and the help of the Business Development Manager and Technical Manager.

DRDO conducts successful maiden flight of Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator

Maiden flight of the Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator was carried out successfully by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from the Aeronautical Test Range, Chitradurga, Karnataka on July 01, 2022. Operating in a fully autonomous mode, the aircraft exhibited a perfect flight, including take-off, way point navigation and a smooth touchdown. This flight marks a major milestone in terms of proving critical technologies towards the development of future unmanned aircraft and is significant step towards self-reliance in such strategic defence technologies.

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is designed & developed by Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru, a premier research laboratory of DRDO. It is powered by a small turbofan engine. The airframe, undercarriage and entire flight control and avionics systems used for the aircraft were developed indigenously.

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO and said it is a major achievement towards autonomous aircraft and will pave the way for ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ in terms of critical military systems.

Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO Dr G Satheesh Reddy appreciated the efforts of the teams associated in the design, development and testing of the system.
